President Connolly will officially launch the Simon Communities of Ireland Older Adult Homelessness in Ireland report on older people retiring into homelessness, at the University of Galway.
The report follows a multi-stakeholder conference held on September 2025, hosted by Simon Communities of Ireland and Galway Simon Community as part of the national Simon Week awareness campaign.
The aim of that conference was to bring together those who care about ending homelessness, advancing understanding of homelessness in older age, and generating actionable solutions.
