OPW Guided Tours

Áras an Uachtaráin is both the official and private residence of the President of Ireland.

The President is pleased to welcome the public to participate in the guided tours organised by the Office of Public Works and to enjoy the experience of visiting and viewing the main reception and state rooms of Áras an Uachtaráin.

The guided tours take place almost every Saturday all year round.

Each tour takes about an hour and fifteen minutes and is free of charge. Tickets are issued on a first-come-first-served basis from the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre. Group and/or advance booking is not possible.

Please note: The Phoenix Park Visitor Centre is a separate heritage site, located outside of the grounds of Áras an Uachtaráin, which has a children's playground and café.

Guided tours of the House are offered on Saturdays at the following times:

January - December: 10.00am, 11.15am, 12.30pm, 1.45pm and 3.00pm.

Guided tours of the Gardens will run only from June until October.
