President Connolly will officially open the first National Barnahus Study Day, hosted by the Child and Adolescent Sexual Assault Treatment Service.
Barnahus is recognised as the leading European model of a child-friendly multidisciplinary response.
The first national Barnahus Study Day will cover a range of sensitive topics around child sexual abuse so as to raise awareness of the service and showcase how far the service has developed since it began in Ireland.
