The President will attend a joint concert by the Palestrina Choir and Escolanía de Montserrat.
The Escolania is a liturgical choir, which for more than seven hundred years has sung in the Monastery of Montserrat. This is the first tour of Ireland by the Escolania de Montserrat, which includes two free concerts, in the Church of the Redemptorists of Limerick and the second in the Procathedral of Dublin.
The concert in Dublin is in cooperation with the Palestrina Choir boys, founded in the 1890s. President Higgins met with members of the choir on St. Patrick's Day 2018
