President Higgins was elected as an Honorary Bencher of the Honorable Society of King’s Inns at a dinner at King’s Inns, Henrietta Street, Dublin.
The President was formally presented with a letter informing of his election as an Honorary Bencher in September this year when the President hosted a reception for Judges of the High Court. Link
The Honorable Society of King’s Inns, established in 1541, is Ireland’s Oldest School of Law.
