Statement on UN International Youth Day

‘Today, UN International Youth Day, as we send greetings to young people wherever they may be and in whatever circumstances on our planet, we ask to celebrate and join with them as our best hope for saving our planet from destruction, be it climate change, conflict, or irresponsible abuse of the resources we need for all humanity.
Knowing that they have ‘Féideartha Gan Teorainn/Limitless Possibilities’ our wish for them is that they succeed in bringing about the changes that can no longer be postponed in achieving a balance between social justice, economy and ecology.
Can there be any better way of delivering the energy and shared moral purpose of one’s youth than to achieve this for present and future generations to come?”
