President Higgins to meet H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of France

On Thursday 26 August President Michael D. Higgins will receive H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic at Áras an Uachtaráin.
President Macron will undertake a one-day visit to Ireland, and will be welcomed to the country by the President and his wife Sabina. Following the welcome ceremony, the two Heads of State will have a bilateral meeting at Áras an Uachtaráin, followed by a meeting with a number of prominent writers and thinkers.
In the evening, President Higgins and Sabina will host a working dinner in honour of the French President.
