Appointment of New Ombudsman

The President today (2nd Dec, 2013) appointed Mr Peter Tyndall as Ombudsman and Information Commissioner (Áras an Úachtaráin 2.30).
In attendance was Mr Brendan Howlin TD, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform and members of the Tyndall family
Dr Tom Frawley, Northern Ireland Ombudsman, was also in attendance.
