President Higgins welcomed a delegation of Trade Union Leaders from the USA to Áras an Uachtaráin on a courtesy call.
The delegation of thirty-five trade union leaders, including General Presidents from across eight of the largest trade unions in the US, are being hosted by the James Connolly Visitor Centre during their visit to Ireland.
President Higgins officially opened Áras Uí Chonghaile, the James Connolly Visitor Centre in April 2019.
