President and Sabina Higgins attended the Irish Craft Heroes Exhibition at Dublin Castle. The event was part of the World Crafts Council Europe General Assembly and marked the 50th anniversary of Design and Crafts Council Ireland. At the event, a lifetime achievement award was presented to renowned basket maker Joe Hogan.
