The President delivered a Keynote Address entitled "The making of a peace process - the importance of the Colombian Peace accord, its contribution to process and its regional and global importance."
The visit also included witnessing the signature of Memoranda of Understanding between University College Cork and a number of Colombian higher education institutions, including UNAL itself and meeting with members of the Irish community in Colombia.
