President Connolly visited Maam Women’s Group in Co. Galway.
Maam Women’s Group was set up in 1994 to provide an education and social outlet for women in the Maam Valley area. The group has held classes in adult education, fitness classes, heritage days, social events, first aid classes and tea days for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The group hosted a special exhibition celebrating over 30 years of memories, activities, and achievements on the 4th of July 2026 in Ionad Pobail an Mháma.
