Their Excellencies, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia and the Ambassador of Georgia presented their Letters of Credence to the President at Áras an Uachtaráin today.
 
H.E. Ms. Anna Sochańska, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland was accompanied by Mr. Łukasz Chimiak, Deputy Head of Mission and Head of the Political & Economic Section.            
H.E. Mr. Davor Vidiš, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia was accompanied by his wife Ms. Merica Vidiš, and by Ms. Dubravka Popić, First Secretary.        
H.E. Mr. George Zurabashvili, Ambassador of Georgia, was accompanied by his wife Ms. Irina Bochorishvili, and by Ms. Ekaterine Mrelashvili, Senior Counselor.       

Mr. Andrew Doyle T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine represented the Government at the ceremony.

The following were also present:  Mr. Art O’Leary, Secretary General to the President; Mr. Niall Burgess, Secretary General, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Mr. Joe Brennan, Ms. Marylee Wall, and Mr. Daniel Lowe, Protocol, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The Ambassadors were accompanied to and from Áras an Uachtaráin by an Escort of Honour consisting of a motorcycle detachment drawn from the 2 Cavalry Squadron, Cathal Brugha Barracks, Dublin, under the command of Lieutenant David Kelly.

A Guard of Honour was provided at Áras an Uachtaráin by 1 Mechanised Infantry Company, DFTC, Curragh Camp, Co Kildare, under the command of Lieutenant Elizabeth Carr.

Captain John Carpenter conducted the Army No. 1 Band, Cathal Brugha Barracks, Dublin.
