Appointment of President to the High Court

President Michael D. Higgins today appointed Mr. Justice Peter Kelly as President of the High Court.
The Tánaiste, Ms Joan Burton TD, the Attorney General, Ms Máire Whelan SC and Minister for Justice, Ms. Frances Fitzgerald TD were in attendance at the event.
