President Higgins welcomed Ms. Annita Demetriou, President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, to Áras an Uachtaráin on a courtesy call.

Ms. Demetriou is a Greek Cypriot politician and as the first female Speaker of the House of Representatives in Cyprus since June 2021.
