President Higgins welcomed Mr. Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, to Áras an Uachtaráin on a courtesy call.

Mr. Bettel took office as Prime Minister in 2013. He was previously Mayor of Luxembourg City from 2011-2013.
