President Higgins welcomed Mr Habib El Malki, President of the Moroccan House of Representatives, to Áras an Uachtaráin.
The President and Mr El Malki had a comprehensive discussion on a wide range of issues, including Ireland's relations with Africa, the EU's relations with Morocco and the wider region, and the challenges suggested by the climate crisis and the requirements for sustainable development. They also discussed the role of both countries in multilateral organisations.
