President Connolly will receive the First Minister of Wales, Rhun ap Iorwerth, to Áras an Uachtaráin.
Rhun ap Iorwerth has served as First Minister of Wales since May 2026 and as the Leader of Plaid Cymru since June 2023.
The visit to Ireland of First Minister ap Iorwerth is his first international travel after his election on 12 May 2026, reflecting the importance Wales attaches to the bilateral relationship with Ireland.
