President Connolly welcomed Dr John Killeen, Chair of the RNLI Council for Ireland, to Áras an Uachtaráin on a courtesy call.
Dr Killeen has been serving as a member of the RNLI Council since 2017.
The RNLI currently operate 46 stations around the coastlines of the island of Ireland as well as major inland waterways.
