At University College Cork, President Higgins attended a preview screening of “The Atlas of the Irish Revolution”, a three-part documentary series based on the book chronicling the story of the Irish revolution.
The series is narrated by actor Cillian Murphy and covers the period from the formation of the First Dáil in 1919 up until 1921.
The screening was accompanied by a Questions and Answers session with a panel of specialists moderated by historian and broadcaster Dr John Bowman.
