President Connolly will attend the launch of the Liberties Festival in Dublin.
The event will feature an evening of spoken word, curated by poets Jan Brierton and Martina Keegan, around the theme of 'Roots & Rearers', especially celebrating the 'rearers' in life, with Liberties roots.
The seven-day festival includes a series of family-friendly, sporting and community events, and multi-cultural and arts programmes in the Liberties, Dublin.
