Statement from Áras an Uachtaráin: Appointment of Head of Communications and Information at Áras an Uachtaráin

Following an open recruitment competition conducted by the Public Appointments Service, Mr. Hans Zomer has been appointed and has taken up the position as Head of Communications and Information at Áras an Uachtaráin.
Mr. Zomer has extensive experience in global justice advocacy and communications in Ireland and internationally.
He holds a Masters degree in political science and prior to moving to Ireland in 2001 has worked in Belgium, Chad and Pakistan with various non-governmental and human rights organisations.
