President addresses participants in the Liberty Freedom from Addiction programme

The President visited Liberty, a social enterprise that provides people affected by drug and alcohol use with the work experience and skills needed to move into employment.

The President presented awards to people that concluded some of the training programmes provided by the organisation.

As part of the selection process to determine the hosts for the Rugby World Cup 2023, President Higgins met with members of a World Rugby technical working group reviewing selected bids, at Áras an Uachtaráin.

The Rugby World Cup 2023 host union will be selected by the World Rugby Council on November 15, 2017.

President hosts a reception for individuals and organisations in S.T.E.M.
