The fifth Garden Party this year took place on Wednesday 19 June and was a celebration of those who work to support refugees and people seeking asylum, fleeing persecution because of their race, religion, nationality, social group or political views.
Each year, President and Sabina Higgins organise themed Garden Parties to celebrate particular people and organisations who work on themes that the President wants to highlight.
