President Higgins invites King of the Netherlands to Ireland

President Michael D. Higgins has written to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Kingdom of The Netherlands, inviting him to pay a State Visit to Ireland in June.
The State Visit will serve to highlight the excellent political, economic and historical relations between Ireland and The Netherlands and to further strengthen the ties of friendship between the two countries.
