Letterfrack students present woodwork from fallen Áras tree

On 17 May, students of GMIT Letterfrack visited Áras an Uachtaráin to present the President with projects made from timber he had donated to the college.

The wood came from a tree that had fallen over in the grounds of Áras an Uachtaráin.

The students were able to craft many beautiful and imaginative objects, which the President said dissolved the distinction between art and craft.
