On the second day of their State visit to the UK, President and Sabina Higgins met with Irish nurses and doctors employed by the National Health Service (NHS).
After visiting the elderly medicine unit at University College Hospital, the President and Sabina toured the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU), one of the eight such ‘hubs’ in London that provide 24/7 care for all patients presenting with stroke symptoms.
